The magazine
PakStyles is a desk, not a feed.
Four pillars, one country, and a long memory. We publish slowly and we publish on purpose.
We write about the clothes people actually wear, the food that shows up on real tables, and the way Pakistan trains — in gyms, on tracks, in parks, and on rooftops.
The magazine is edited in the open: stories are commissioned, photographed, and fact-checked. Readers can comment, react, share, and flag what misses the mark. You do not need an account to take part.
Fashion, food, fitness, and travel are the four pillars. Beauty and lifestyle sit beside them. Subcategories keep the archive honest — a piece about lawn season belongs somewhere more precise than “style”.
How we work
Four habits we keep
-
01
We commission, we don’t aggregate
Every story is assigned to a writer with a reason to be in the room — a tailor’s workshop in Lahore, a stall at 6am, a training track before the heat lands.
-
02
We photograph what we describe
Clothes, plates, and places are shown as they are, not as a lookbook wishes they were.
-
03
We fact-check the small things
Prices, spellings, neighbourhoods, and names. If we get one wrong, we correct it in public rather than quietly.
-
04
We let readers argue back
Comments, reactions, and reports are open to guests. The best correction we ever ran came from someone who never signed in.
